About
Pocket Finds started as a shared chat thread between three friends who kept sending each other screenshots of weird little mobile games. At some point the thread got too long, so we turned it into a site. The idea never changed: we play things ourselves and write down what the experience actually felt like.,We lean toward indie and small-studio releases because that's where the surprises live. A two-person team will try a control scheme nobody else dares to, or build a mood that a big-budget title would sand down. Those rough edges are usually the interesting part.,Picking what to cover is simple and a bit stubborn. One of us installs a game, plays it long enough to form a real opinion, and if it holds up through a second session, it gets a full write-up. If it bores us in twenty minutes, we move on and don't pretend otherwise.,Nobody pays us to feature a game, and we don't run sponsored reviews. The site runs lean on purpose so we can keep saying what we think, even when the answer is 'skip it'.
