Hollow Lantern
★★★★★ 4.6
Hollow Lantern drops you into a fog-wrapped village with a lantern that reveals things the eye can't see. You tap to move and tap to interact, and the puzzles grow out of the world instead of feeling bolted on. Lighting a path to find a hidden door is more satisfying than it sounds.
The pacing is slow in the best way. There's no timer, no fail state, just a mood you sink into. I played most of it with headphones and the ambient audio — creaking wood, distant bells — pulled me right in.
If you like adventure games that trust you to notice things, this is a lovely couple of evenings. A few puzzle solutions are a touch obscure, but the gentle hint system never left me truly stuck.
